MEET MILIKA

I’m Dutch, born on the Caribbean island of Curacao, raised on Aruba, and have lived in The Hague, Hong Kong, and - where I call home - London. My international upbringing has given me a deep appreciation for different cultures, styles, and ways of living, all of which continue to influence and inspire my design work today.

Following an earlier career as a marketing executive in the financial hedge fund industry, I decided to pursue my true passion - interior design. I trained at the renowned KLC School of Design, where I built a strong foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of the field.

With over eight years of experience now under my belt, I bring a personal, collaborative approach to every project - working closely with you from concept to completion. My goal is to understand your vision, your lifestyle, and your taste, so together we can create a space that not only looks beautiful but also feels like home.

Over the years, I’ve built strong, trusted relationships with skilled contractors, reliable suppliers, and expert tradespeople - ensuring quality craftsmanship and a seamless process for every project. My design inspiration comes from a rich mix of travel, visits to art exhibitions and museums, and a constant curiosity about the world. I stay up to date with the latest innovations and product launches in the interior design industry to bring fresh, thoughful ideas into every space.

I am especially passionate about contemporary design, especially when it involves an artful mix of colour, texture and pattern. I love blending modern elements with antique pieces to create a layered, character filled spaces which is both timeless and full of personality. For me, great design is about balance - every piece should complement the other while reflecting something personal.

At the heart of my process is you. My role is to guide, inspire, and bring your dream peace to life - often showing your ideas you never have considered, but will love living in every day.
